WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:

CHICAGO MAGAZINE: “valslist is a haven for busy adults in search of great new tunes. Like a ‘music concierge’ valslist handpicks music that boomers will love and their kids will envy.”

BOB LEFSETZ: (“One of the music industry’s most influential analysts…” Washington Post) says about valslist: “We’re looking for more. Computers can’t tell us what we like, we need humans. Like Val…. A trusted site.”

MAKE IT BETTER.net: “Finally! A new boutique music website that makes it easy to discover and download the best tunes. You’ll never have to ask your kids for help again – in fact, they’ll be asking you where you got the great music!”

OUR PLAYLISTS ARE MADE TO GO ANYWHERE:
valslist is music for your party, your car, your office, your run, your iPod, your life.

REMEMBER: Tracks 5 and 10 on ALL valslist playlists are vintage oldies – will you remember them?

valslist: Playlists for Busy People

We search for new music so you don’t have to. Valslist discovers the best tunes – including new artists, vintage oldies, covers and world music – and assembles them into unique playlists to make it easy. We take the hassle out of the music search and keep you current by adding new music each week.

The process is simple; just create an iTunes music store account, browse through our playlists, and click to purchase. Our site links to iTunes so the format and price are the same. The difference is – with valslist, you know WHAT to buy. Want to know more? See FAQ’s.

Valslist MUSIC IS ARRANGED IN TWO WAYS:

My regular playlists are a mix of new music plus two vintage tracks. These playlists each have a rhythm and flow that you will come to know and trust as unmistakably valslist. Some songs will have familiarity, some will expand your musical horizons. The common thread? The music is smart, lyrical, tight, fresh, and listenable…but not homogenized or Top 40. Edgy at times, but for a purpose.

My JUST playlists are songs arranged by specific themes for a more predictable sound – per your request. (just DANCE, just CHILL, just MARTINI MUSIC, just COVERS, etc.)

And remember, you can make your own playlists from the valslist music you buy! We show you how.

Valslist music has a wide appeal. Whether you have it all or have no clue, whether you are working out or chilling out, take valslist music with you.

New Artist to Know

The Northwoods.
The Northwoods

The music of The Northwoods has a wondrous secret hidden within their gentle harmonies. This happy, hidden, magic is the authentic creative friendship that exists between Jeremy Shanas, Eli Palnik and Jeff Geld. They have been friends since childhood, always playing, singing, laughing and making music while sharing their combined youthful summers in The North Woods of Wisconsin. Their sound is pure and true, sunny and joyous, gentle and real. Only artists who have become brothers can make music like this.

The Northwoods sing gentle wisdom wrapped in the warm sounds of their amazingly relaxing music. They are the perfect example of American music returning to its senses. The Northwoods invite you to listen with your heart and hear with your soul. Absorb their sweet words and music deep within your truest self and you will have made three new friends.

See The Northwoods’ MySpace page.
